I’ve said it many times: I love decorating, but for me—and likely many of you—it’s not just about what we see, it’s about the full experience. If my home looks like fall, it also needs to smell like fall and feel like fall. But, living in Florida can ruin that vibe a bit. We don’t get the crisp air and sweater weather, but we try, don’t we?

And while some of you will nod along with me throughout this post, by the end, you might realize that I'm writing exactly for you—the person who buys all the tacky, throwaway seasonal decor each year. Yeah, you know who you are! None of it matches, none of it has a cohesive style, and frankly, it all looks like a mix of leftover Halloween and Thanksgiving clearance.

But hey, if it makes you happy, go on with your bad self! No judgment—except maybe a little.

If you can’t answer that question, well... you don’t have one!
